Extend the reach of a selection of XF lenses with this teleconverter. The XF converter magnifies the image by 1.4x and retains full communication between the lens and body. The means that metering, autofocus, and image stabilization operate completely as usual. It also maintains the transmission of EXIF data. As an added bonus, the teleconverter is designed to maintain the weather resistance of the entire FUJIFILM system with a sealed construction that reduces the chances of dust, water, or even extreme cold from affecting performance.

The usual caveats apply as they do to every teleconverter: You will lose 1 stop of light when adding this to your lens, and the image quality will be reduced. Unfortunately, there's no free lunch when it comes to lens design.
