Details
Whether the FS7 is sitting on your shoulder, against your chest, or plopped comfortably on a tripod you’ll be working with an industry favorite professional camera. If you like shooting with a super shallow depth of field then you’ll enjoy the built in neutral density filter with up to 6 stops of cut so you can shoot wide open, even if its bright outside. Thanks to its dust and weather sealing you’ll be able to shoot outdoors longer even if things get a little moist. Sony’s lineup of E lenses complements the FS7’s Super 35mm sensor and provide excellent image quality for the huge 4k resolution. If you want to output to Apple ProRes be sure to check out the extension unit that also serves as a V-mount battery cradle. A surprising 180 FPS in full HD provides silky smooth slow motion, while its “fast” mode of 1fps allows for taking longer shooting sequences and speeding them up into much shorter lengths of time.
