You get amazingly smooth control over focus and aperture settings, so manually controlling them is much, much easier than on a standard still-photo lens. The aperture ring on each lens is "stepless", meaning you can smoothly adjust it (even mid-shot!) by hand or with a follow-focus mechanism. Speaking of that, each lens has standard-pitch gearing molded into both the focus and aperture rings. This gearing will mesh perfectly with industry-standard follow focus systems and guarantees a perfect fit with no slippage. The lenses include aspherical elements, depth of field markings, hoods, and are compatible with both full frame and crop sensor cameras.
