The B10 and B10x series of strobes from Profoto are battery-only power, so no matter whether you're shooting on location or in a studio with access to AC, you're gonna need batteries.

We include a battery with every B10x light we rent, but it is always smart to have extras on hand, for when your shoot doesn't go exactly to plan.

This battery will power the B10, B10x, B10 Plus, and B10x Plus monolight. It is a factory original, supplying 14.4V for 43.2 Wh of energy storage.

You can expect ~400 full-power pops from the 250Ws lights (B10 and B10x). That number drops to ~200 full-power pops with the "Plus" lights, due to the fact that they have twice the output (500 Ws).
