Heavy lenses are typically high quality lenses, but if you add enough weight the additional strain on a given lens mount will cause flex. Using a lens support prevents that from happening and adds strength and longevity for both the lens and camera body. Mounts to 15/19mm rails system to help support longer/heavier lenses.
