This is an awesome 2-light kit that packs down small but delivers massive results on set. It is darn near perfect for interviews, but is also great for any situation where you need soft wrap-around light from panel-style lights.

The kit includes (almost) everything you need: lights, softboxes, grids, and diffusion included for each light. The only thing you'll need to add are light stands (see below for our favorite options) The lights themselves have very high quality output (CRI of 97), and are color temperature adjustable from 3000K to 10,000K. Because of the unique foldable design of these panels, they are fully 2 feet by 2 feet when deployed, but collapse down to 12" x 12" for easy storage and portability. Everything fits in a compact hard-side plastic case with wheels, and other than light stands, you could carry this on a plane if you needed to.

These panels have a relatively low power draw, allowing you to optionally use V-mount batteries as a power source. We definitely recommend the high capacity batteries (at least 160 Wh), but at least you have the option. Naturally, you can use plug-in mains AC power as well.
