Let's address the elephant in the room here: I'm sorry to say it, but Focus Rat is just not a good brand name. Surely they ran focus groups on this, right? Did *no one* stand up and ask what the heck they were thinking when they named this company? Ah well. What's done is done. Lucky for you, this camera support is WAY better than its name would suggest.

But here's the upshot. This product is every bit as good as its (very) expensive competition from down under. In fact, we think there are several things about this particular design that are even better than the Cinesaddle.

The first is the neck strap. Nicely padded, adjustable length, super comfortable. Next is the plushness of the fabric and filling. Seriously, I think I'm gonna take this thing home and make it my new pillow. It's supportive, yet plush; sturdy, yet soft. It will cradle your camera and lens with the loving care of a unicorn mother taking care of her colt. And I ask you: Could you possibly ask for anything more?

For reference, this is the medium size, which is approximately 15" wide by 12" tall by 10" deep. The manufacturer says it's rated for up to 22 lbs, but honestly, I don't think you could really overload it unless you drove a truck over it or something.

So if you're looking for a versatile camera support that is easy on you AND your gear, look no further. This is the real deal. Just, um, try to ignore the unfortunate name.
