This world's-first lens design is specifically designed to create ready-to-use video files for AR and VR applications. By utilizing this lens, you no longer have to shoot on two cameras and sync the footage later. A full 3D "stereo" image is created in a single file, which you can view and edit using Canon's VR software.

The field of view is 180°, allowing you to capture immersive environments for entertainment, tourism, training and education, real estate, or creative storytelling. Note that this will require the viewer to be using a VR headset such as the Occulus Quest 2.
