Canon really stepped up to the plate with the five-stop image stabilization (IS) built into the lens. You can handhold and zoom in to 105mm at f/4 without problem or shakiness showing up in the image! An extending lens barrel when you’re zooming means that it can get pretty compact when you need to pack it away.
