Rent the LP-E17 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack from Canon to power your camera. Assuming, of course, that it is compatible with your camera. It is a Canon factory battery, none of this 3rd-party stuff. According to Canon, it has a capacity of 1040mAh, and an output voltage of 7.2V.
