This system is generally regarded as one of the best AF systems currently on the market due to its speed, accuracy, and smoothness. It has over 1000 selectable focus points that cover nearly 100% of the frame. For still shooters, it is optimized for both single-release performance as well as tracking moving subjects, where nailing focus is critically important. On the video side, this system offers the same benefits as for photo use, and also adds the ability to rack/pull focus smoothly via a touch-screen interface. There is also eye-tracking for both humans and animals.
