The Canon BG-R10 battery grip allows you to double the battery life on the Canon R5, R5C, R6, and R6 II while also improving vertical shooting ergonomics. With the use of this grip, you can have two of the Canon LP-E6NH, LP-E6N, or the original LP-E6 batteries in the grip instead of just one in the camera to help improve the battery life as well as making vertical shooting much easier with the additional controls. When using this grip on the Canon R5C, it also supplies the additional power for the lens that would normally not get power when using certain settings. The additional size and stability also pay off when using large telephoto lenses which might feel awkward when using on a small, lightweight mirrorless body.
