Sometimes you just need a lightweight solution for a Matte Box, especially when you want to run a gimbal or steadicam setup. Here is your solution! Weighing in at only 7 ounces (3.5 oz for the filter frame alone), this box easily clamps on to lenses with an outer diameter of up to 114mm (most cinema primes). We also have inserts to make it fit nearly any lens. Simply let us know what lens or lenses you want to use it with and we'll get you the appropriate adapter with your rental. You can easily insert up to two filters of either 4x5.65" or 4x4" size securely in the matte box without the need for an additional filter tray. Best of all, the low-profile design of this box makes it great for use with wide-angle lenses, up to and including 14mm.
