Use this handy adapter on tripods, sliders, car mounts, or really any mount that uses a standard 3/8" stud. It is great for providing a little bit of adjustability in situations where a full-size head might be too large or unwieldy.

We especially like to use it with sliders and car mounts, as it allows you to get the camera positioned exactly how you need it, then it locks down tight.

The top mounting screw uses an ingenious design that provides both 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 threads. The bottom uses an industry-standard 3/8-16 female socket. The bowl design allows it to tilt up to 15° in any direction, or rotate to get things lined up just right.

The official load maximum is 110 lbs (as stated by Benro), but we'd feel more comfortable using 40 lbs as a working maximum.
